CIPAC Urges Support For The Taylor Force Act

US Taxpayers should not support payments by the Palestinian Authority (PA) to families of Jew-killers. The US currently gives more than $500 million annually to the PA, of which about $300 million is used to pay pensions to families of terrorist “martyrs”. This Act stops US aid payments to the PA unless it stops paying pensions to convicted Palestinian Arab terrorists and their families.

CIPAC Urges Senators to co-sponsor S.474 (Taylor Force Act), introduced by Senators Lindsey Graham (R-SC), Roy Blunt (R-MO), Tom Cotton (R-AR), Tim Scott (R-SC), Ted Cruz R-TX), Richard Burr (R-NC), John Thune (R-SD), Marco Rubio (R-FL), and John Boozman (R-AR).

S. 474 Stops US aid payments to the PA unless the PA ends pension payments to convicted terrorists and their families.

CIPAC Urges House Members to co-sponsor H.R.1164 (Taylor Force Act), Introduced by Reps. Doug Lambo0rn (R-CO) and Lee Zeldin (R-NY).

H.R.1164 Stops US aid payments to the PA unless the PA ends pension payments to convicted terrorists and their families.

Taylor Force was a US citizen, an Army veteran and a West Point graduate.  He was killed by Palestinian Arab terrorists while he was on a graduate school trip to Israel in 2016.

Congress must cut all funding to the PA unless it stops teaching hatred of Jews and inciting violence in schools, mosques, media, and children’s camps.   PA President Abbas told President Trump, “I affirm to you that we are raising our youth, our children, our grandchildren on a culture of peace”.  Yet, when asked by President Trump to stop pension payments to terrorists and their families, he refused.  He told his people, in Arabic, “We welcome every drop of blood spilled in Jerusalem.”

The PA refuses to accept the Jewish State, calls all of Israel occupied territory, publishes maps with Israel replaced by the word “Palestine”, glorifies Jew-killing Palestinian terrorists as martyrs, holds parades honoring them after their death, and names streets, parks, schools and sports teams after them.

US should cut all funding to the PA unless they fulfill their Oslo commitments, especially the need for the PA to stop promoting hatred and violence against Jews and terminate its alliance with Hamas.

It is already US law that:

  • No US funds can be used to pay the salaries of PA officials affiliated with terrorism
  • No US funds can be used to assist Hamas or any entity controlled by Hamas
  • No US funds can be used to pay benefits or salaries to terrorists or to the beneficiaries of imprisoned or dead terrorists
  • No PA government can have any ministers who do not agree to recognize Israel and agree to adhere to all agreements signed between Israel and the PA
  • No US funds can be given to the PA if they initiate an ICC investigation, or actively support such an investigation, against Israelis.  They officially joined the ICC on April 1, 2015
  • No U.S. funds may go to international organizations that admit “Palestine” as a member state (U.S. Code Title 22, Section 287e)

The United States is currently experiencing significant budgetary pressures, but gives nearly half a billion in U.S. taxpayer dollars to the Palestinian Arabs. This is an annual bailout of a terrorist, corrupt regime that is inimical to the interests of the United States and its allies in the region.  Total US funding since 1994 exceeds $5 billion.

Despite these robust U.S. financial contributions, not to mention Israel giving all of Gaza and half of Judea and Samaria (West Bank), where 99% of Palestinian Arabs live, to the PA during the many signed agreements over the last 20 years (Oslo I, Oslo II, Hebron, Wye River, etc.), Palestinian Arab terrorism, violence, lawlessness, extremism, and radical Islamist ideology have flourished. Giving the PA U.S, funds simply sends them the message that the U.S. supports their anti-peace, anti-Israel behavior and policies.
